Lets Talk Teachers Gifts

It's that time of year

It's that time of year. Schools are closing, kids are rearing for the holidays, the teachers are breathing a sigh of relief, while parents shudder in fear. Hee hee. What do you Mamabears give to your children's teachers at the end of the year?

Our school makes lovey hampers for the staff and the parents contribute to this so everyone if already giving something which is nice. But of course you want to give a little something extra to say thank you to the ladies who look after your child specifically. The ones who nurture and care for you little sunshine's. Well in my Sunshine's nursery group there are 6 ladies who care for her and lover her each day...so I needed to give each of them a little something. So it literally had to be something small or I would be out of budget. It required some creativity. But this is what we came up with.

"A little something for your mistletoe's" I found this cute idea on Pinterest. I made a cute little package for each of them. I found a shimmery nail polish, a quality glass nail file, hand cream and a cute little candy cane for a festive feel. Then I designed and printed a little thank you note. It really came out to be a cute looking little gift.

Then for the friends (her whole class), we just sent a little candy cane and a note to say thank you for the year of friendship and fun.

I always enjoy doing these little craft projects and everyone is always so grateful afterwards. It's really rewarding letting those who impact you and your child's life know how much they mean to you. The effort is always appreciated which is nice too.

What did you give to your child's teacher this year?
